Dunkeen Oil is a family run fuel distribution business based in Portlaoise, Co. Laois, supplying home heating oil, agricultural fuel, and lubricants to over 20,000 customers across Laois, Kildare, Kilkenny, and Offaly.
Before changing our Oil Business to Herbst software, we were very nervous and apprehensive. At the time, we didn’t realise what a huge advantage Insight would be to our business. When we changed over, we were happy enough with our business. It was profitable, although we found it tough to stay ahead of simple things such as paperwork, stock control etc. Looking back in comparison to what we have now, we must have been trying to run our business blind-folded.
